Navajo Marathoner Shaun Martin takes Ariel on a run through Canyon de Chelly before she checks out the mysterious Antelope Canyon. Then in Utah, Ariel explores the Pando aspen grove with ecologist Paul Rogers.

In Silverton, Ariel meets up with astronaut John Herrington, who will be joining her for the rest of the trip. They explore colorful Colorado and its cultural heritage by train and zipline.

New Mexico may be known for its unique rock formations, but what about its hot air balloons? John and Ariel get a taste of both on their road trip across the “Land of Enchantment”.

Step outside the big city, and New York state has no shortage of natural wonders. John and Ariel take us on a journey through the rich history of Niagara Falls before seeking out some of the beautiful gorges and lakes the state has to offer.
